MALTBY CT250 MAXIMUM MOI DRAW CUSTOM MADE DRIVER The Maltby CT250 Maximum MOI Draw Custom Made Driver Series combines every aspect of technology possible to produce straighter and longer drives. The Maltby KE4 SSF1 is the newest addition to our tremendously successful KE4 line of premium weight adjustable components. Precision forged from 6-4 titanium with a CNC milled face to maximize ball speeds at all impact locations. The KE4 SSF1 driver features a modernized, stretched crown geometry to increase MOI but is coupled with a unique crown finish that gives the driver the appearance of traditional pear shaped driver when set in the playing position. The durable textured crown finish also reduces glare and helps to hide scuffs and scratches. The Maltby KE4 SSF1 features a 6 gram interchangeable weight screw that is positioned low and to the rear of the club head. Using the KE4 weight screws, the KE4 SSF1 head weight (203 grams) can be reduced by 4 grams (199 grams) or increased up to 8 additional grams (211 grams). This adjustability makes the KE4 SSF ideal for custom fitting. The KE4 SSF1 drivers stretched geometry coupled with the 6 gram stock weight screw has an MOI over 5200 g cm making it very forgiving and stable through impact. There is a direct relationship between head weight and MOI. The heavier you can make the head the higher the MOI will be, especially when the weight is added rearward of the clubs current center of gravity location. Through testing we have found that inserting a 14 gram weight into the KE4 SSF1 driver head raises the MOI over 400 points to approximately 5600 g cm. Acer XK Draw Titanium Driver Head. Large 460 cc Titanium Driver with a mid 57mm Face Height. Offset to help reduce that pesky slice. Variable Face Thickness and Cup Face Construction. The Acer XK Draw driver head draws on the design features of the standard XK in an offset design. variable Face Thickness and Cup Face Construction in particular are becoming hugely popular in the driver world, with all the main OEM's incorporating this technology in their new designs. This latest generation of Acer Drivers is loaded with features to help the game for a wide variety of players. First, Acer focused on face technology by giving it a variable face thickness and what's known as "cup-face" design. So it easily provides the maximum performance on center shots, but also has the ability to provide almost perfect results with those 'less than perfect' hits. The cup-face design moves the welds from the corners of the face to provide a thinner, and even more active face to maximize ball speed on off-center hits. Then the variable face thickness further reduces the thickness around the perimeter of the impact area so the whole club face becomes a large sweet spot. So off-center hits will launch the ball down the fairway as if you struck the ball right in the center of the face. Also, the shape of the head was carefully designed to appeal to a wide range of golfers, but still improve stability by lengthening the front-to back dimension. Finally, the center of gravity moves lower and further away from the face to optimize the launch conditions.

New For 2010! The Acer XDS Insider Titanium Driver was designed around the way average golfers swing. One of the most common tendencies is when a golfer comes over the top and makes an outside-in move. This is evident by most shots off the tee resulting into a push, fade or a slice. It has been written that if you were able to change to more of an inside-out movement a golfer who swung 95 mph could gain as much as 42 yards. Of course, this would require a huge change in how the person swings the club and let’s face it most golfers are not going to be able to put in that time and effort. But through creating design features in the club head, the golfer can be encouraged to make more of an inside path. The profile of the Acer XDS Insiders head as well as the contour on the crown was specifically designed to create a mental picture of swinging from the inside. This will encourage you to swing the driver on an inside-out swing path. The XDS Insider also helps the golfer in two other ways. By adding internal weighting within the head in the heel area, this creates draw spin on center shots. The other method in creating a “draw bias” is the unique asymmetrical sole. More weight is shifted toward the heel in order to assist in rotating the head and squaring the face at impact. The face angle is a little more closed than normal to provide some additional corrective measures. In many cases when a golfer sees a closed club face they are not even aware they are manipulating the club face or their stance open and essentially negating the potential benefit of the clubface being closed. The Acer XDS Insider’s addressed this problem as the face angle is cleverly disguised by the masking on the crown to provide a “square” appearance so they can just trust their natural swing. New for 2010, the Maltby Tricept PFT (Precision Forged Titanium) driver utilizes the PFT manufacturing process as well as a very deep, 360°, 15-3-3-3 Beta Titanium VFT Cup Face design.
